What’s not included in Bookkeeper Lady Monthly Bookkeeping?
Monthly Bookkeeping doesn’t include sending invoices, paying bills, or management of inventory, accounts receivable, or accounts payable. The service doesn’t include financial advisory services, tax advice, facilitating the filing of income or sales tax returns, creating or sending 1099s, or management of payroll. Bookkeeper Lady offers Full Service Payroll for an additional cost.

Will I be locked into a contract?
​No, Monthly Bookkeeping is a month-to-month service and you can cancel any time.

​Monthly Bookkeeping Description

Monthly Bookkeeping includes three service phases: setup, ongoing bookkeeping, and month-end close.

1. In the setup phase, your bookkeeper helps you set up your chart of accounts, connects your banks, and teaches you the basics of QuickBooks. If you have information in QuickBooks already, your bookkeeper will help clean it up in the first month of service.
2. As part of ongoing bookkeeping, your bookkeeper categorizes your transactions and reconciles your accounts each week.
3. Monthly reporting delivered by the 25th, your bookkeeper closes your books and confirms they’re accurate by preparing a trial balance. They then send you PDF copies of key financial reports, including your profit and loss statement and balance sheet.
